Sloane // Three Months Old

Look at this little girl. She is impossibly fun and happy. I just can't stand to not be squeezing and kissing her constantly. Her little face is filling out finally so she's getting some cheeks and a double-chin. She is starting to sit up much easier, obviously while being held, but she isn't a total ball of mush anymore. We're about ready to get out the baby seat and the jumper soon after that. Her head control is awesome. She is the happiest when she's on the changing table. It makes her talk and giggle. She loves being in the bath tub and doesn't cry every time she gets out now. These are newborn sized pants which are too short all of a sudden. Since she's a girl I'm just going to call them capris. :)  She loves to "talk" with me. There's something about when I say "I love you"; she gets the biggest smile and tries to talk back. She seems to always feel like she's falling so she'll get a grip on anything she can while you're carrying her. The usual victim is my hair, but she loves my finger at all times too. She is drooling like crazy already. She isn't really able to use a chew toy yet, but that fist of hers is getting a lot of action. I haven't weighed her since her two-month appt, but she's definitely growing!

Our poor second and third babies. They just get a wall in our room instead of an actual nursery. I still need to put photos up over the crib, but I love her little wall above the changing table.

And dat belleh button.

Because I'm Happy

This onesie is one of my favorites from Max's baby wardrobe. It was one of the only gender neutral ones I had so I pulled the outfit out for Little Miss. After I put it on her this morning I told Max I thought I had a photo on Instagram of him at the same age wearing it, and sure enough, I did. They look very similar, but she seems to be a mix of both boys as babies so far. I can't 100% say she looks exactly like either of them. She COULD NOT be cuter though. That I do know.

You-Know-Who had to jump in for a photo, which never goes ideally. I think he bonked her so you can see tears in her eyes from a quick scream.

Max literally screamed all night last night. We have caught him sleep walking a few times and it was like he was asleep the entire time he was doing it and we couldn't snap him out. We were all awake for most of the night and I am exhausted today. Sloane didn't seem to stir much during it all, but she must've been effected because she literally slept for the entire day today. She didn't wake up here until we got home from picking up Carson and I made her wake up to eat and get changed. She was also due for a sling ride. Check out that drool factor now! It is coming on fast. She's chilling in the sling now as I type away at my desk. :)

Sloane - Month 1 via iPhone

I haven't been posting any of the photos from my phone and I take them daily! I tried to go in and find my favorites, but that was a big task. Here are the ones I could easily find from Sloane's first month in this big world and some of the boys I haven't shared either.

The first time each of the boys held her on the morning after we came home. I brought her clothes down and realized I grabbed a 3-6 month jacket. She is just now at 2 months almost out of newborn size so this thing was ridiculously big on her!

Her first ride in our ring sling at 3 days old.

The granny hands from day 1 were my favorite. They are now finally filling in and fattening up.

Carson had a little angel's kiss between his eyes as a baby. Max didn't have one and Sloane has one on the tip of her nose.

Her first sleepy smile caught.

Getting ready for our first lunch out as a five-some. She likes to be held...

These two are from the funniest sequence of pictures. They make me laugh every time I look at them.

Carson's flag football team

At the bike park with the bros.

Waiting to go into Carson's class for his back-to-school assessment.

And coming out of Max's back-to-school assessment.

BWW with Grandpa

Her first and "official" baby shoes. I'm in love with them.

A great Sunday at Aurora Reservoir. Sloane and I stayed in the shade on the beach.

At the dentist.

We took them to get ice cream this night because we had just been at a park where Max got 4 bee stings at once on his hand. He was a trooper, but I'm sure it really hurt. Ice cream makes everything feel better.

Smile training! These were the beginnings of some intentional smiles.

And the first REAL one caught on camera, even though it was mega blurry.

Carl called this her jazzercise outfit. LOL

On me while I work most days.

Crashed out while Max and I read for nap time.

And more wearing her to get the boys ready for bed.
